hundreds of 的意思是“数以百计的,好几百的”,不能和具体的数词连用,如two,four等等,当要描述具体的有几百时可以用“数词+hundred”来表示.例：
They have planted hundreds of trees.
他们种了数百棵树.
但当把a /one hundred看作单位时可以有复数,例：
How many hundreds are there in a thousand?
一千里有多少个一百?
