Harry did not stop his car at some traffic lights when they were red,and he hit another car. Harry jumped out and went to it．There was an old man in the car．He was very frightened and said to Harry．"What are you doing? You nearly killed me!"
"Yes,"Harry answered,"I'm very sorry．"He took a bottle out of his car and said．"Drink some of this．Then you'll feel better．"He gave the man some whisky．and the man drank it,but then he shouted again."You nearly killed me!"
Harry gave him the bottle again,and the old man drank a lot of the whisky．Then he smiled and said to Harry,"Thank you．I feel much better now．But why don't you drink?""Oh,well,"Harry answered,"I don't want any whisky now．I'm going to sit here and wait for the police．"
在红灯时哈瑞没有停下他的车,并且撞上了另一辆车.哈瑞从车里出来走向前去.那辆车里有一位老人,他吓坏了对哈瑞说“你在做什么?你差点杀死我!”
哈瑞回答说“是的,非常抱歉.”哈瑞从他车里拿来一瓶东西说：“喝点这个,你会感觉好点.”哈瑞给了老人一些酒,老人喝了,但他又对哈瑞喊了一句“你差点杀死我!”
哈瑞又给了老人一瓶酒,老人喝了很多.然后他笑着对哈瑞说：“谢谢你,现在我感觉好多了.但是为什么你不喝呢?”哈瑞回答说：“现在我一点也不想喝酒,我就坐在这等警察来”
