最近我在上IELTS（雅思）,课堂上有讲到这个问题.口语上,这两种说法都是接受的.但是在书面表达上,not only 加在is 后有些中式了.因此“she is famous not only in china,
but also in the whole world”会更好一些.都无语法错误.若接在is后，后一句要不要改成but also famous in the whole world与原句的后半部分是一样的。总的来说，第一种是she is not only famousin china,but also in the whole world. 第二种是she is famous not only in china,but also in the whole world.
