Difference between Chinese and American Social Life
As the USA is the one and only superpower,and China is the largest developing country,there are many differences between them,and it was found expression in social life.
There was a story:one day,an American woman and a Chinese woman were walking in the street,they were both dressed in hat and skirt.A cold wind suddenly blew them,the American woman covered her hat in case her hat won’t be flown away,but the Chinese woman covered her skirt in case her leg will be showing.That’s the difference of the culture.China is a country with 5,000 years of civilization,the conservative ideas can’t change in one day；And the USA is a young country,it is changeable and open-minded.
There are reasons behind every life style.Some Americans said that Chinese people are so impolite; they jump the queue and spitting everywhere.Their censure is right,but they don’t know why Chinese people do that.China is a developing country with a population of over 1.5billion,there are too much people,and they have to wait to do everything,this really annoyed some of them,they break the rule,they don’t want to be polite to everybody because it will be too tired.For Americans,there are few people in their land,they don’t have to meet people when they get out of the door in the morning,meanwhile they don’t worry that their breakfast were sold out.
There is nothing wrong with both sides.As the villagers in the global village,we should learn to be open to everybody.
