Because of environmental pollution, my hometown used to be dirty and messy. However, after people began to realize the importance of environmental protection, things changed a lot. Rubbish is no longer everywhere but in the dustbin. The river isn't smelly anymore. Not to mention the sky! For the first time in my life, I find that we actually have a blue sky instead of gray clouds. I really enjoy my new hometown. It now seems like a place to live, not to leave!
