either,nither,both作定语的比较（看例句）
例句Neither teacher often answers the questions.
这两个老师,没有一个经常解答问题.
Either teacher often answers the questions.
这两个老师中有一位常常解答问题.
Both the teachers often answer the questions.
这两个老师都常常解答问题.
我想问的是answer在这三句里是不是谓语动词(不是的话是什么）?为什么Both the teachers often answer the questions.中teacher加s而answer不加s?上面的三个句子有错误吗?

answer是动词,第一句和第二句因为有neither（两者都不）和either（两者其中之一）,就说明主语是单数,所以后面的谓语动词要用第三人称单数的形式加S.而both是两者都的意思,很明显这个时候主语是复数的,所以后面的动词就用原型.
neither 和 either 后面直接跟一个名词应把名词写成单数形式.
这三个句子都没错的.
