Good afternoon everybody!It’s my honor to stand here today,and I’m very glad to share the topic” wisdom in the mind is better than money in the hand.”
Maybe someone will say now that we possess enough money,why should we study or work hard?So why?
There is no doubt that we can buy something we treasure by money.But money in the hand is limited after all,it will be run out one day.Maybe you will say”ask from our parents”.But what about the future?
Nevertheless,wisdom differs from money.It is not transitory but permanent; it is not boastful but authentic.Wisdom remains in our own brain,it belongs to ourselves.We can easily utilize it.So we draw a vital conclusion that wisdom can make money,but conversely money can’t buy wisdom.
As Boccaccio said,” Human wisdom is the source of happiness.” Only with wisdom arming our brain can we realize how to balance what we get and what we lose,also can we know what we need indeed,while we can’t make it just having money in the hand.
