some 是一些的意思
e.g.There are some chairs in the room.
那个屋里有一些（几把）椅子
any 是任何的意思（经常用于否定句与疑问句中）
e.g.Is there any chair in the room?
这个屋子里还有任何（一把）椅子吗?
a lot of 和 many 都能修饰可数名词的,（是很多的意思)但a lot of 也可以修饰不可数名词 many 却绝对不能
much 只能修饰不可数名词(意思也是 ：很多）
