You are never too young to start doing things.Mei Lanfang first performed Beijing Opera when he was ten.He was a great Beijing Opera performer in China.He was born in Beijing on October 22,1894.His family was very poor.When he was four,his father died.His uncle sdopted him.At the age of seven,he started to learn Beijing Opera.At last he made a great actor .He died at the age of 67.
Mei Lanfang visited the the U.S.and some other countries.He was the first Chinese to perform Beijing Opera in western countries.He made friends with famous foreign actors,like Chaolin.Mei Lanfang loved his country.During the period of the War of Resistance Against Japan,he didn't perform for the Japanese .So he went to Hong Kong in 1938.
Mei Lanfang is popular in China.Chinese people will remember him forever.
