Taiwan China Treasure Island
Taiwan is the biggest island in China with an area of 3,591 square kilometers. It covers Penghu, Lanyu,Diaoyu and 80 other islands.
It has a population of 21 million, of which 97 percent are of Han Nationality. They are mostly from Fujian and Guandong Province.
Its main produce is rice, and others include sugarcane, tea and fruits. It is well know as the Hometown of Fruits.
There are many rivers in Taiwan for irrigation and industry. As for its mineral resources, there is coal, petroleum, natural gas, gold, silver and copper.
Taiwan is a rich and beautiful island, for which it is often called Treasure Island.
