As the core of the team, the team leader bears a very challenging task. Especially in abroad, the team leader not only is on behalf of the travel agency organizing the delegation but also have the obligation to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the guests; not only must ensure the teams to respect the laws and customs of the countries visited but also have to safeguard the dignity of the motherland; not only is responsible for the quality of service during the entire journey but also have to bring back all the guests healthily and safelyand leave the guests with good reputation.
I think the team leader should communicate with the local travel agency on the following:
First, he should introduce the basic information and some special status of the team members to the local travel agency.
Second, he should work out with local travel agency a good schedule of journey in cosideration of the factors such as whether and the convenience of the routes, and ensure the implementation of such schedule.
Third, he should let the local travel agency to remind team members to care about issues regarding the laws, customs and religious rites of the country visited.
Fourth, he should tell the local travel agencies not to lead the team to some places prohibited by law in our country.
