I think is fully justified.The market decides the price.If a profeesion is very competitive,and the product it provides is demanded by a large amount of people,this profession is bound to be paid well.Just like accountants nowadays.It's competitive,and a lot of companies are craving for good accountants,therefore accoutants make a lot of money.Same thing happens in sports.Tons of people wanna be successful athletes,therefore it's competitive.Millions of people watch world cup,NBA,etc.,therefore the world needs those professionals.It makes perfect sense for them to make great amount of money.
