A is n times lager than B 和 A is n times as large as B
两个在语义上是完全相同的,但在用法上有些区别.根据A.S Hornby的解释,当n等于2(此时用twice)或3时,as large as 结构更为常用
'A is n times as large as'的意思可以翻译为‘A的大小是B的n倍’或者‘A比B大n-1倍’
A is n times large than B 指A是B大小的N倍
