The attractions of dangerous activities
Nowadays,it is undeniable that more and more people are attracted by dangerous activities,such as climbing,bungee jumping,surfing,and so on and so forth.From my point of view,there are several reasons for the popularity of those dangerous activities:money,self-satisfaction and curiosity.
Nothing is more significant than money in driving people to take part in risks.For example,the Hollywood stars specialized in action movies could make a stunning amount of fortune in a single movie even though he/she may required to do some dangerous stunt in that process,say,simulation of an traffic accident or saving people from fire.In other words,risk is the job or career of these people,while the by-production is danger.
However,the second kind of people who attracted by risks are willing to taste dangerous,and such willingness has nothing to do with money.Sometimes,they even like to pay money to experience the risks.It is mainly because they can release themselves and feel satisfied while they jumping down a high mountain or experiencing the driving speed.Take my friend’s story for example.Once after the pongee jumping she told me that she was badly scared while falling down,but after her feet step on the earth again she realize that life is so beautiful.
The last reason for risks,in my opinion,is curiosity,which is the instinct of human.These people may not love danger,but just to peep what danger is by doing risks.And I think most of us who take part in dangerous activities are such kind of people.
