forget to do 表示忘记了做某事（此事没做）
forget doing 表示忘记了已做过的某事（此事做过但忘了）
so did I 我也是这样（表示跟别人一样的动作）
so I did 我的确是这样（别人评价你的动作,你表示认同和肯定）
在不同时态中助动词do要变化,或变成情态动词.而表否定时用nor或neither.
