Everyone stared at the three people.My father went up and talkes to one of the women.
‘He stole my purse,'said the woman.‘We were in the bookshop and three young men were behind us.Then I found my purse missing.The other two men ran away,and we follwed this man here.'
Then the bell rang and the gates opened.The man hurried aboard,and the two tourists went after him.
‘Wait',said my father.'Let's take the next ferry.'Then he hurried yo an ice creamshop,picked up the phone and quickly dialled 110.
'Iwant to report a theft.Amen stole a purse from a tourist.He's on the No.3 Ferrynow.It left a few minutes ago.Please meet it on the other side of the other side of the river.'
We took the next ferry.When we got off,we saw six policemen standing round the man.He was in handcuffs.
