关于whether和whether or not?
之前问了一个问题 如下 ：
例如：It won’t make much difference whether you agree or not.
我想知道whether 本来就是 “是否”的意思 为什么后面还要加 or not
有回答说：whether or not 是固定搭配
我又问 ：有些句子并没有跟 or not
又回答：因为后面的or not 被省略了
我怀疑 有查其他同问答案
其他回答说：
当是否讲的时候两个都可以
当不管是...或是的时候要加or not
那这句：Ask him whether he can come or not.
问问他是否能来
就解释不通了
那whether和whether or not 到底怎么用呢?
