似乎應用完成時就更正確了,表示“趕上了”,動作已發生.

回到為什麽不用“of:
首先你要了解 It is fortunate for me to catch the train.的句子構造.英文語法中有避免“頭重腳輕”之說,說的是一個句子主語相對賓語成分不能過長.此句真正主語是“for me to catch the train“我趕上了火車”這囘事 是 “fortunate (幸運的）的,但又不能造句為 For me to catch the train is fortunate.因爲這樣的話,主語部分太長、太重,所以用“IT作形式上的主語放在句首；”for someboday to do something 這叫不定式,作句子的真正主語.而這種不定式搭配是沒有“of somebody to do something的.
另外,這種不定式做主語的情況,有時主語不出現.比如：
It's so cool to have him here. 他在這太好了.
