Father asked Anne when she went to bed the night before.
为什么这里变间接引语时,不用改时态--过去完成时?

我知道你认为应该是“过去的过去”所以用过去完成时,其实用过去完成时完全可以的：father asked anne when she had gone to bed the night before.这在语法上没错的.但是语言不是死的,为了表达方便在很多情况下就成了过去时.
