手套的故事
冬天的时候,安娜的书包里总是有两副手套,妈妈问她是不是手套要两副一起带才暖和,她说不是,另一副是为同桌露西而带的.她说：露西买不起手套,可是她宁愿长冻疮,也不愿意去救助站领那种难看的土布大手套.平时她就敏感极了,从来不接受同学无缘无故赠送的礼物.妈妈买给我的手套又暖和又漂亮,要是露西也有一双就不会长冻疮了.所以,我就再买了一模一样的一副放在身边.如果装作因为糊涂而多带了一副手套,露西就能够欣然戴我的手套.今年露西的手上没有冻疮.”

Today I'd like to tell you a story about gloves (手套[glʌv]).Do you know gloves?A pair of gloves is necessary in winter.They make us feel warm.And this story is named Anna's Gloves.
One morning of winter,Mother saw two paires of gloves in Anna's bag.She asked Anna,"Are the gloves not warm,so you need two pairs?"
"No," Anna said,"It's because of Lucy.She would rather be chilblained (生冻疮)than get gloves from the Help Station.And she is so sensitive (敏感) that she never accepts classmate's presents.I think she'll not be chilblained if she has a pair of gloves like me.So I bought one pair more and prertended (假装) to take them to school by accident.So that Lucy can wear my gloves.This winter she was not chilblained."
