您所说的这两种情况都行 on the morning of May 1st, 1995=in the morning on May 1st, 1995 前者of May 1st,1995是以介词短语的结构作后置定语,修饰morning,此时morning有除冠词以外的修饰语,所以前面的介词要用on. 否则纯粹是英语中时间从小到大的时间排序,不存在修饰与被修饰的关系,所以前面用in,后面用on
