Good morning!Everybody!My name is XXX.The topic题目 I am going to present to you is “Too many days at a time.”
There are two days in every week about which we should not worry.(你可举两个手指) Two days which should be kept free from fear and worries.One of these days is yesterday,Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control.All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday.Yesterday is gone!
Now I want to ask you,” did you ever feel bad when you didn’t do well in a test?”(你可真的就问现场的同学)
Well,I felt bad when I got poor grades.I wanted to cry.I feel the sky is falling down.I feel everybody is looking down on me.The more I think about the test,the worse I feel.Boys and girls,please tell me,“Is that good?””Does that help?” You are right!That does’t help at all.Yesterday is gone!And let’s shake it off and step up.(抖一抖,从头迈步)
The other day we should not worry about is tomorrow.Tomorrow is beyond our immediate control.Tomorrow's sun will rise,whether in splendor or behind a mask of clouds.But it will rise.Until it does we have no stake in tomorrow,for it is yet unborn.
This leaves only one day:today.When I wake up,I would say” Today is a new day.Let’s rejoice and be happy!”
So I am going to stop to smell a flower.Today I will dress up.The best way to dress up is to put on a smile.A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.A little smile can make such a big difference in one’s life.I would smile to the people I know and I would smile to the people I don’t know.
Today I will shut up!I will say nice things and learn to listen.“ Hi!” “ How are you?” “Can I help you?” I am going to tell my mom and dad how much I love them.
Today is the tomorrow I set goals for yesterday.I would like to stand up ,reach up and lift up!Today I would say a little prayer.I will pray for the world peace.I will pray for a peace of mind.
So boys and girls,my message to you is short and simple:Just do it well today!Today!Today!Today!
