i take two hours to do my homework.是不是take只能是这样的结构：it takes sb sometime to do sth.即take做花费时只能是it做形式主语是吗?那这一句为什么能单独用take:swimming acress the river takes about 10 minutes.

take(花费）不用人作主语的.常用It takes sb +time to do sth
或 sth takes sb+时间i spent two hours doing my homeword yesterday。也就是说这一句用take表达是错误的？Doing my homework took me two hours yesterday.
