being settled是动名词形式的被动态,表示这个动作的时间先于主句主语we went home的的时间.
第二句说话人并没有刻意强调动作在时间上的先后关系,因而使用了过去分词finished做the job的后置定语.那第一个句子也可以去掉being吗？第二个句子也可以用being finished对吗？
