楼上说的都不太准吧,我们老师这样讲的.
work作名词时,有两种意思：
1、艺术品,此时work可用复数,
例如works of art
2、工作,此时work为不可数名词
楼主问题中work应该作“工作”来翻译,所以不可数名词,不加冠词a.
