When he was only 14 years old,William Kamkwamba started to dream up a windmill that would produce electricity for his village in Malawi in Africa.What was the trouble?As Malawi was experiencing the worst famine（饥荒） in 50 years,William had to drop out of school because his family could not afford $80 every year.This meant he not only had no money to buy the parts,but also had no formal education to teach him how to put them together.However,he wouldn’t give up.
