Should a city try to preserve its old,historic buildings or destroy them and replace them with modern buildings?Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.
The issue of the problem whether a city should preserve the old,historic buildings or not is confusing some government officials.With the modern technology developing fast,some buildings,which have huge volume and special incredible devising,come into our life so that numerous old buildings seem to be more outstanding.Some people will destroy them to save space for making the most beneficial incomes.Others hold the opposite ideas.In my view,we should strike a balance between the two sides.
First of all,those early years’ buildings always have the characteristic symbol representing that time.We ought to sometimes stop for a minute to look back old days,with a sincere attitude towards history to absorb experience though it because our happy days comes to us not easily.These historic buildings need to be protected from being destroying and remembered forever.For example,Tiananmen building which built in 14’s century is attracted more and more people all over the world to visit Beijing.Now it is already becoming a symbolized sign of china.
Secondly,these constructions will bring local people big benefits.Although them seem to have less functional using,but we can appeal people to visit such place.We can promote the economic development by making the most use of them.Some merchants will also invest these places where have many buildings like them.
Lastly,we can teach our children form buildings.Almost children now live too comfortable to forget who gives them wonderful days.To avoid them ignoring history,we need to preserve a number of buildings.That a good way to encourage our children to set a big willing to make progress everyday for our own country.
Of cause,not all old buildings must preserve.We should choose some considerable and significant buildings to stay for long time.Some buildings,which are not very vital,also need to be destroying for new buildings if we make a proper balance between preservation and destroying.
