Jack London was born in San Francisco, California on January 12, 1876.When he was young, he was very poor and left schoolto make money. He worked very hard and did different jobs. In 1897, he went to Alaska to find gold and there he found some fresh ideas. Then he returned home to write novels. He was very successful and rich and famous in his twenties. In 1916, he took his own life because of his poor health and unhappy life.
