all members of the family are free.
However, the celebrations are a litter bored. Since the old and the young

My grandparents usually buy some candies and dried fruits and put them on
the plates before we visit them. When we arrive at their home, we can watch TV
or eat snacks. At 8:00pm, the Spring Festival Gala on the TV begins. Then
we watch the TV program until early next day in the morning. During all
this time, we can’t fall asleep, although we sometimes feel very sleepy. This is
the Chinese tradition. When the clock strikes 12 midnight, everyone should
say New Year’s greetings to the elderly. Afterwards my cousins and I set
off some firecrackers. Then we all eat dumplings.
