英语强调句是不是需要加the,复数怎么办
一般都是it was the xxx that xxx
但是如果句子这样 It was some sacrifices that they should do to make up for their inherent shortage
里面加了some 就不能加the了吧,那这样算是强调句吗

从句式上来看,应该是的.
一般来说,把“it was”和“that”拿掉,调整语序后还是一个完整句子的话,就是强调句吧~比如说这一句,拿掉之后就是“They should do some sacrifices to make up for ...”,所以应该是的.
