Each mother is very great and she does lots of things for us and gives us endless love.My mother is great,too.She can cook delicious food so I want to give her a surprise.I remembered I bought a book about how to cook.And read it for several days.Then I began to prepare the vegetables and meat.I wanted to mad dumplings because they are my mother's favorite.It took me about an hour to make dumplings.Of course it was hard to me and I felt tired but happy.When my mother came back home,she couldn't believe that.She praised me.From them on I learnt different ways of cooking and helped do some housework,too.I think it's our duty to help our parents.
