Since the last century ninety's for commercial use, Internet has been developing rapidly, now it has become one of the world's economic development and social progress important information infrastructure. The virus, malicious attack, illegal access has become the focus of attention.Flow monitoring is through capture network traffic to analyze the data packets, which can further the understanding of the current network problems. It is all kinds of network security in the essential basic components. This paper starts from theory of knowledge, first introduced the network using the current situation, analysis of flow monitoring and research significance, this study was put forward the implementation method.The main work of this paper is to achieve a simple network traffic monitoring software. The first use of WinPcap development kit provides a series of API, flowing through the network device to capture data packets, and then capture the data into SQL database for later statistical analysis and the flow undertook preliminary statistical analysis and simple query, and visualization of the show to the user.
