reason是原因.variety指的是各种各样,种类不同,比如a variety of flowers.但是中文的“有各种各样的原因”不能想当然的翻译为“a variety of reasons”,因为原因显然不是“种类不同的东西”之意.这是中文思维的结果,学英语的时候要注意这一点.
