For normal people,we do not understand how valuable our life is,we do not understand those who are deaf ,who are blind,how can they leave?but in my idea ,deaf is much better than blind,cause although we can not hear anything but we can see.so a deaf people,when he can face the situation himself ,it is easy for him to get along with the truth.
he may learn to mouth language,that means to learn from the different mouth shape,he can understand what we say.
