英语：宾语从句的what和that
He was criticized for______.
A.what he had done B.that he had done it.为什么选A不选B?
我们知道A选项中what在宾语从句充当he had done的宾语；那么B选项中that不充当任何成分,也是可以的?
1楼似乎没有理解什么是宾语从句？后面的从句A或B从句在主句he was criticized for都是充当宾语，从句充当主句的宾语，所以我们叫它宾语从句。希望能回答B为什么不能？
2楼为正解：我补充下 只有以下六个介词：besides，beyond，but，except，in和save后面可以接that引导的宾语从句。其中除了in that（既然，因为；在……方面）外，besides／beyond／but／except／save that都含有“除了”的意思
