“同意做某事”应为agree to do sth.既不定式作agree的宾语.但不能说agree sb to do sth.

如：
I promised to attend to the matter promptly.我答应立即处理这件事.
I promised him to attend to the matter promptly.我答应他立即处理这件事.
当promise做“有……的可能”的意思的时候,仅运用于Promise to do 这一短语.
如：
This year promises to be another good one for harvests.今年可能又是个丰收年.
