The flowers need watering 就是说,这花需要给它浇水了（花需要被浇水）
这是need的一个特殊用法
the clothes needs washing.
the child needs feeding.
the homework needs writing.

nobody是指“没人”,一般用who提问时,说没人用nobody,特指的是人；
而如果问what did you find in the room(你在房间里发现什么了?)要用none,什么都没有.
nobody没有人；none什么都没有.
