Other forwarders usually charge RMB 2300 for a 20' container under FOB terms without entering Yangshan port.The add-on is around RMB 500 for entering Yangshan port.But with Kang Jie Kong (the nominated forwarder),we will be charged RMB 3275 for cargo below 16 tons.But if the cargo is more than 16 tons - we are usually over 16 tons - the tariff for a 40' container will apply.So every 20' container costs us RMB 4017 for domestic transportation under FOB terms,doubling that of other forwarders.
