The kite is one or Iraqi kids'favorite things when it gets windy in spring or fall.Boys and girls like to fly kits on the roof or on the ground.If the roof is not big enough for flying kites,the kids would find a bigger roof with their friends.
When I was seven years old,I found that my elder brother could make kites.I liked kites very much.SO I asked him to teach me how to make one.But he didn't want to teach me.I had to watch him when he went up to the roof and flew kites.
How time flew!Fall came again and there was much good wind.When I was ten years old.I told my mother that I wanted to learn how to make kites.She also told me to be careful when flying kites on the roof,because many kids fell from the roof.
After some time,I knew how to make kites!One day,my friend,Saleem,came to play with me and we made our first kite.We liked it very much,for it was very beautiful.We flew our kite with the other kids.We wanted to see whose kite could fly the highest...
With the kite,I had lots of fun and I will remember those happy times for good!
