on the board有两层含义：
一是作“在木板上”解,还可在board之前加修饰词,作供某一用途的木板.例如：
Gao Min was standing on the diving board at that time.
当时高敏正站在跳水板上.
二是作“将在会上讨论”解.例如：
This plan will be laid on the board of the next class meeting.
这一计划将在下次班会上讨论.
