Once there was a small boy named Shankar.His family was very poor.
One day,he was crossing through the forest carrying some woods.He saw an old man who was very hungry.Shanker wanted to give him some food,but he did not have any food for his own.So he went on his way.On his way he saw a deer who says very thirsty.He wanted to give him some water,but he did not have water for himself.So he went on his way again.Then he saw a man who wanted to make a camp,but the man did not have woods to him.In return,the man gave Shanker some food and water.
With food and water,Shanker went back to the old man and gave him some food and gave some water to the deer.The old man and the deer were very happy.Shanker then happily went on his way.
However,one day Shanker fell down the hill.He was hurt and couldn’t move,and no one was there to help him.But the old man who he hade helped before saw Shanker,he quickly came and pulle¹ him up the hill.Shanker had many wounds² on his legs.The deer who got water from Shanker saw his wounds and quickly went to forest and brought some herbs³.After a while,his wounds were covered.All of them were very happy because they were able to help each other.
