举例 fall off the bike 从单车上摔下来,off 表示从...下来
fall down 表示下落 跌落,是不及物的,必须加上from表示从...怎么区别是及物动词还是不及物动词？？这个叫做“习惯搭配”，慢慢积累吧，有的语法书上有总结，这种动词搭配的建议自己摘抄积累，下次就会记住了└(^o^)┘举例：分别嘛，主要看你想描写fall之前的情况，用的是什么介词。比如如果A原来是on B的，那么摔/掉下来就要用 fall off例如：fall off the chair (椅子)对应 on the chairfall off the roof (屋顶) 对应 on the roof但是如果描写摔下来之前的情况，如果用的介词不是on而是at, in，之类的，就要用A falls from B （ down可以不加的~~~）例如：falls from a height of 500 meters (500米的高度) 对应 at a height of 500 metersfalls from the sky (天空) 对应 in the skyfalls from power (权力) 对应 in powerfalls from heaven (天堂) 对应 in heaven只要试一下，你就会发现你不会说, on a height.., on the sky, on power, on heaven，所以你就知道不应该用fall off了。另外要注意的是，有些情况是可以两个都用的，有很细微很细微的区别，这里难解释清楚，就需要你自己多读来把握语感了。
