我看资料上写的是这三种：
This bridge is three times as long as that one.
This bridge is three times longer than that one.
This bridge is three timesthe length of that one.
其中,我记得老师说 是它的三倍就是比它长两倍,也就是说第二种方法应该这样翻译：
This bridge is twice longer than that one.
我看网上有的也说用three times ,可我觉得老师讲的是对的
那究竟怎么解释呢?

你这种表达是可以的,语言表达有很多种,不用拘泥一种.很赞赏你这种探索的精神,当年我也是这样.那你还是没有告诉我 用three times 还是twice啊两种表达都可以。This bridge is three times long as that one.或者This bridge is twice longer than that one.为什么资料上说This bridge is three times longer than that one.
而且网上的文档也是这么写的
