个人意见.
prevent sb.\sth.from 后面多加 doing,意味“防止某人做某事”；
而protect sb\sth.后面多加against,即使跟着from,也是from sth.比较多.
比如这句话里,如果要用protect...from..的话,应该改成：
the sunglasses protect our eyes from the intense heat.
