people有复数peoples的情况吗
我看到有一个文章里“Peoples who occupined North America before the arrival of the European..." 这里peoples是不是错了?

是这些民族的意思!people在作民族,种族时复数要加S,也就是说是可数名词!当作其他用法时就是不可数名词了!当然有这种用法了!比如the peoples of Asia亚洲各民族.
