The rivers near our city have been seriously polluted recently. The clear water has gone. There used to be many fishes swimming freely in it. But now they are gone. Many factories in the city pour the waste into the rivers. The villagersthrow much rubbish in to the river. And day after day, the once beautiful rivers have turned into smelly and dirty dustbins.
