live是不及物动词,不能带宾语的,因此这两个句子中的lived 后面都不需要带宾语.如果live后面加个in，关系词用什么呢如果live后面加个in，关系词用which/that .

第一句：This is the house that/whichI have lived in for five years.
This is the house inwhichI have livedfor five years.

第二句：We got to a farm in which lived a farmer and his wife。为什么加上in就是关系代词，不加就是关系副词呢？因为加上in后, 先行词(house/farm )在定从中就是作介词in的宾语,所以就用关系代词which/that.
没有in时, 先行词在定从中就是作地点状语, 就要用关系副词where.
