My parents had been talking about my going to school for weeks They talked about school in a way that make me worry that I would have a good time there so when the first day came I was not afraid  I woke up early before me mother called me My mother had some new clothes for me and she make sure that I looked nice that day .She made breakfast for me and then I went to that  At the school I met the teacher.but I connot remember her name I do know that she was very nice to me and tried to make me feel comfortable in the classroom The classroom was new with brown plastic desks and a big green chalkboard at the front There was an American flag a set of pictures and a clock on the wall Along one wall was a set of boxes for staring our school supplies The teacher had a big desk in a corner of the room The room was I think light green   I remember looking at all the new children who were in the class and wondering if I would like them or not  I also wondered the other students would laugh at my new school sup plies My mother had boughe me a school bag with new pencils and paper I felt better though when I noticed that the other students had bags just like mine and were using the same pencils and paper  I was excited about school because I wanted to be able to write my nameK-A-R-E-N and my parents had promised me that after I had gone to school I would be able to do that
