The efforts
Looking around,we could find snails almost everywhere:on walls,on the ceiling,or even in the coat pockets.It was obviously that the snails had just escaped from the paper bag and took a long stroll in the room.' Dear me!' Robert said with a shock,' It seems that there will be a great job to do!'
Robert and I made every efforts to collect these small creatures into some bottles to avoid them .We could not reach some of the them on the ceiling,so we brought two ladders and went to the top of it then caught the snails with gloves.We also used branches and tried to stick the snails by a special type of glue.Though the snails was creeping slowly,It still took us a very long time to collect them,for we had to check and mark every corner.
At last,the job has been done.Robert was amused about the experience and he asked me if I were able to leave and eat the snails with him.With a great deal of tiredness,I refused to face them anymore and left him cooking in the kitchen.Robert,however,had the meal alone.Since then,I have never been able to look at a snail.
