Once Effendi had a joke with the Prime Minister(首相 ).He said the Minister would die the next day.The next day,Minister really fell from the horse and die.When the King heard this,he got angry and set his men to catch Effendi at once.
When Effendi came ,the King shouted angrily,"Effendi,you knew when my Minister would die,you must also know the date of your own death.Say it out ,or you will die today."
Effendi looked at the King and answered ,"But how can I know?I'll die two days earlier than you."
The King was afraid that he would die if he killed Effendi .He thought he must keep Effendi alive as long as he could .So he let him go.翻译
